What is a layout?
A layout is a visual template that a whole component (ie a deck of cards) is based on.
Editing a layout
You can edit the layout that a component is linked to, by clicking the edit layout icon.
Warning: If multiple components are connected to the same layout, editing the layout will affect all components! If instead you want components to be linked to separate instances of a layout, you should first duplicate the layout, then connect the duplicate. See below for more details.
Connecting a component to a layout
You can link an existing layout to a component by clicking the change layout icon on a component:
In the layout selection menu, you can choose whether to connect an existing layout or a copy of an existing layout.
Clicking the tick icon in the example above would connect the layout, whereas clicking the duplicate icon would connect a copy of the layout.
