Using Custom Fonts

To upload a font that you have a license for, look for the upload button (top right) of the font menu in the layout editor.
Important: before uploading a font file, make sure your font license permits this. Check the font licensing agreement for details on this.

Uploading Custom Fonts

Important: Give all font variations the same name.
For example, if you have a bold Arial font file and an italics Arial file, upload them separately and name them both Arial. This will let you properly mix bold or italics in a single text zone using markdown or shortcuts like ctrl+b or ctrl+i. Once you’ve uploaded and named your custom font, it’ll show up in the ‘Your fonts’ menu.

Using System Fonts

Note: System fonts don't work with the new PDF exporter, but they can be handy for quick prototyping purposes.
To use fonts on your system (without uploading font files), follow these steps:
Ensure the font is installed on your computer before starting Chrome.
Access the layout editor and select a text zone.
Type the font name into the Current Font box in the layout editor.
If you had Dextrous open and then downloaded a font, you’ll need to install the font and restart Chrome for the browser to recognize it. Finally, click the save button to save this font to a list of fonts you can use in any project.
