Dustin's Designer Den is a brand new virtual tabletop tool that we're excited about and now officially support!
We're still trying it out so we're not experts by any means but Dustin's platform has the designer-focused quick updating that we love about TTS, and also the ease-of-setup link sharing for playtesters that we love about Screentop.
Setup DDD
You can export a set of components to DDD using the following steps.
Conveniently, all your selected components are exported in a single step, and will then be imported to DDD in another single step. That means you don't need to go through the export process for each component - just once per project!
From the Component Editor, click the teal "Export" button in the top right corner. Select all components you want to export to DDD and then hit the bottom "Export" button.

Export to DDD from the Dextrous export page and copy the DDD JSON URL we generate for you.

(First time only) In DDD under Project > Game Components > Third-Party Sync, look for the Sync with Dextrous section (down the bottom). Click the purple 'Manage URL' button and that will open up a panel where you can paste the JSON URL and hit Save URL and Re-sync. That will pull in all components that you exported from Dex.

You don't need to paste the JSON url in to DDD every time you want your game updated. See the update process below.
Updating a game in DDD
After you've done the setup above, you don't need to paste the JSON url into DDD again.
When you want to update your DD game simply
Export to DDD in Dextrous (step 1) - you can now ignore the JSON link completely.
In a DDD Playtest Room, under the save and sync submenu, you can click the Dextrous button to pull in your new changes from Dex live in your playtest - how cool is that?! Alternatively, if you're not in a playtest session, you can also hit the Re-sync with Dextrous from the Game Components section of the project editor (under Third-party sync), just above where you put in the JSON url in setup.
Video tutorial
In this video tutorial you'll learn how to export from Dextrous to DDD, as well as the basics of the DDD platform. Enjoy!
By default everything is 'card' type (for both TTS and DDD) until you explicitly set it in the component settings menu. If you want to import tokens instead of cards, simply go to the component settings menu, and under Dustin's Designer Den Settings choose 'Tokens' as the Component type like this:
